OASIS Mapping Tool - Perinatal Period of Risk (PPOR) Statistics
OASIS (Online Analytical Statistical Information System) is a suite of tools used to access the Georgia Department of Public Health's standardized health data repository.
- Create maps of Perinatal Period of Risk (PPOR) / Feto-Infant Mortality counts and rates by age, race, ethnicity, marital status, education, county and census tract for 1994-latest year available.
- PPOR uses Fetal Death and Infant Mortality data. Being a birth cohort measure, infant deaths are linked to live births of a given cohort year. The birth cohort for a given year refers to all infants born in that year, however an infant death may occur up to one year afterwards.
- Multiple selections can be made by holding down the Control or Shift keys.
- The source of these data is Fetal Death and Death Certificates reported to the Georgia Office of Vital Records, and represent Georgia residents whether the fetal death or infant death occurred in Georgia or elsewhere.
